About Me

My photo
Jessi Rose
I am a mother of two boys; J is in second grade, and T is in tot-school. I have my teaching degree and I'm licensed to teach day care (6 weeks old) to middle school. I homeschool my boys using various unit studies. I like investigating and learning with them too. We have found that unit studies work best for us because we like to learn all we can about one topic before moving on to another. I don't want to leave out the core subjects like reading, writing or math in our daily schooling; so I try to incorporate those subjects into each unit study. I only post lessons that I have actually completed with my boys. Also, I like to use lessons that require household items or items I keep on hand so I don't have to make special trips to the store. I try to be very practical in choosing our studies.
