In this unit study we learned about the Summer Olympics of 2012. We also created our own backyard Olympics and made a chart to keep track of the medal count. This unit study is geared for elementary students with 4 days worth of lessons. Here is the official site for the 2012 Summer Olympics http://www.olympic.org/. I did this unit study with my 1st grader and would recommend it for kindergarten through 3rd grade.
